Frequently Asked Questions

We try to anticipate questions you might have about our PRODUCT / SERVICE and provide the answers here. If you need additional information feel free to send us an email.
Q
What exactly is the difference between flying ant and a swarming termite?

Q
How much does a termite treatment cost?
Termite treatment cost varies considerably, depending on your location, the construction of your home, and the severity of the infestation.  Remember we give free estimates.

Q
How much damage can termites actually do?
According to statistics, termites cause $5 billion in damage annually.  Unfortunately, without annual inspections, termites can go unnotcied for years while continuing to damage your home.

Q
If I see a pest problem after my regular service will you come back?
It is usual to see an increase in insect activity right after our service. If the problem persists we will come back at no charge, depending upon your service plan.

Q
I didn't see any pests this time, is it okay to skip this service?
It is best for us to perform your services as scheduled. Remember our goal is to maintain control of any pest problems that you may have.

Q
Do the chemicals you use have a bad smell?
Another great benefit of low toxicity chemicals is they are virtually odorless.

Q
Why should I hire a pest control company when I can just do the job myself?
Chemicals sold by home improvment or garden centers can have a residual effect for as short as 30 minutes.  Many of our products used for residential control can last for up to 90 days to maintain control between services.

Q
I keep a clean house. Why do I still have bugs?
Typically insects will come inside when outside conditions make it uncomfortable for them. They will also venture inside simply looking for food and moisture.  Sealing all entry points (weather stripping doors, caulking windows, sealing plumbing fixtures, etc.) may drastically reduce the number of pests you see in your house.

Q
Are these products safe for my kids and pets?
All Professional pest control products have been registered for use by the EPA. When they are applied according to label instrucions by technicians who have been trained and licensed to use them, they pose virtually no risk.

Q
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, our services do not require signing a contract.
